Claclo is a traditional Ivorian dish made from ripe plantains that are peeled, sliced, lightly coated in flour, and fried until golden and crisp.

It is often accompanied by chilli paste, spiced to varying degrees.

In some parts of the country, claclo is also fried in red oil.

Like alloco, it can be eaten plain or with attiéké, accompanied by fish or meat, eggs and is eaten by all social classes.
